Biology Paper 2 - Study the Biology Topics You Will NeedWhen you want to take a second Biology paper you can do it easily. First of all, you should identify what kind of Biology paper you need. There are so many choices, so how do you choose? If you just want to earn an easy course credit then try the A level Biology course but if you have any extra time and really want to enjoy your college life then here are some topics to consider.
The first topic on the list is Genetics and DNA, which can include things like DNA fragments and short tandem repeats and the inheritance of diseases. Another topic for you is Life History. This is when we look at mating and the timing of conception and birthing, and the diet of the species in general. Another topic to consider is Ecology. You will need to know about the differences between different climates or perhaps where trees grow and the ecosystems of those places, and how all these factors are related to the weather and its effect on plants and animals. How would different environments affect the plants? The second topic is the Environment of Biology. This could include things like the forces of evolution and adaptation or the way the Earth's climate responds to changes in energy from the sun and the changing seasons. The third topic of Biology is reproduction. Of course you will need to know how mating and reproduction work. You will also need to learn how animals reproduce naturally or by taking birth control drugs to control fertility. Of course the environment is important too. To finish off there is something called Biogeography. It is the study of the distribution of animals and plants through the world's oceans. There are so many different biological fields and theses, so if you have any interest in one then you may want to try that. Hopefully these topics will help you narrow down your options and find some new topics that will interest you. After you finish your Biology course you will probably have a choice of whether to go to college or even join the military. If you have a great deal of spare time you might like to go for both.
